birdevents: S’mores Bar What I Used: 12in Floating Candle Bowl - Save on Crafts Red & White Dry Beans - Meijer (it doesn’t matter what kind you use, pick a color and sure they’re dry) Fondue Forks - Bed Bath Beyond Sternos - Gordon Food Service (Be sure to check the time allowance, I purchased a pack of 6 and used 4 throughout the night) Chocolate - Gordon Food Service Marshmallows - Gordon Food Service Gram Cracker - Gordon Food Service Display Trays - Gordon Food Service What I Did: Place a sterno in the center of the glass bowl. Pour the beans in the glass bowl, around the sterno.  If you used multiple colors, be sure to mix gently with your hands. Pop the top of the sterno to reveil the fuel. Setup the gram cracker, marshmallow, and chocolate.  I used three display trays.  One to hold the marshmallows, and the other held gram crackers and chocolate each. Place the fondue forks in an easy to reach location.  I used a beer glass, but a standard water glass should work fine. Carefully light the sterno fuel with a lighter or match. Make tasty tasty s’mores! This was a HUGE hit at Adam & Angela’s birthday party.  We had to occasionally change the sternos, but I bought a 6 pack, so we were set.  What I love about this is I’m able to use most of the supplies again!  The beans weren’t destroyed or covered with marshmallows, so I put them in a gallon zip-lock bag for future decor, and the fondue forks can definitely be used for some other event.  Reduce, Reuse, Recycle!
